Weekly fire alarm testing is a totally separate requirement from fire alarm maintenance and fulfils different functions.
It is a legal requirement under the The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. A recent survey brought home how difficult it can be for client to ensure testing is carried out in such a way as to comply with BS 5839.
We are therefore happy to announce that this is a service we can now offer nationwide. If your property requires fire alarm maintenance it will also require weekly fire alarm testing. Should you be experiencing difficulty complying with this procedure, we would be delighted to assist.
